Bu Hasa

The Bu Hasa extraction plant was the first GASCO plant to come into operation, in December 1980.Composed of two identical trains, processing associated gas from the neighboring oil fields, its maximum handling capacity is approximately 600 MMSCFD per day.

On average, Bu Hasa produces 7,000 tonnes per day of NGL, sent to Ruwais for further fractionation, and exports 320 MMSCFD of residue gas to the network.
