    Main objective of this project is to develop onshore sour gas reservoirs at Shah and to establish grass root gas processing facilities with a capacity to process 1,000 MMSCFD of sour gas with a view to ensure additional gas availability to the sales gas network by 2013.

    Contract for Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) Services was awarded to Fluor (USA) in July 2007 and FEED activities are planned for completion by Dec’ 2008. FEED activities for this project are currently being managed by GASCO on behalf of ADNOC.

    A new Joint Venture is being formed to manage the implementation of Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPC) Phase of the Project and the operation of the facilities to be built. Contracts for the various EPC packages covered under this project are planned to be awarded progressively in the year 2009, with project completion by Year 2013.
