    Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has embarked on an initiative to provide a Natural Gas Distribution Network aimed at providing an environmentally clean and efficient solution to the domestic and industrial customers.

    The prime objective of the initiative, achieved through a series of projects, is to supply compressed natural gas for vehicles through filling Stations in the Emirates of Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, as well as supplying Natural Gas to various residential, commercial and industrial customers in Abu Dhabi city through an extensive distribution network. These projects are being implemented through different EPC Packages by the Natural Gas Projects Division of Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Ltd. (GASCO).

    Natural Gas Vehicle (NGV) Filling Stations are located at various locations within the network of filling stations operated by ADNOC Distribution, and are planned to be operational commencing Quarter 4 of 2009.
