    • Ruwais 3rd NGL Train

    The 3rd NGL Train at Ruwais is designed to process additional 24,400 TPD of NGL produced from Habshan 3, Asab 2 and other projects and to produce about 6,400 TPD of Raw Ethane for transfer to the petrochemical plant at Ruwais (Borouge), 6,000 TPD each of Propane and Butane and 5,800 TPD of Paraffinic Naphtha products.

    The project essentially comprises of a new NGL Fractionation Train with Product Treatment Facilities and new Product Storage Tanks. The project scope also includes construction of new Jetty facilities and various Utilities and Offsites.

    EPC Contract for the project was awarded to M/S Snamprogetti (Italy) in March 2005 and the facilities are in final stages of construction and pre-commissioning and are planned to be commissioned progressively by 2nd Qr.2009.
