
Since 1997 ADNOC has organised an annual HSE Awards competition to identify the best examples of HSE Performance enhancement from entries submitted by the ADNOC Group of Companies.
There are currently five categories of Awards:
GASCO has been successful in the ADNOC HSE Awards for 2008, winning the newly introduced category “Sustainable Development” Award and the “Recognition of Group Company and Contractor Partnerships”.
The Sustainable Development Winner Award was for the submission titled: Introduction of New Technology to Detect Invisible Gas Leaks. The Recognition Award for Company and Contractor Partnerships was for: Bechtel – HSEMS Initiatives – Zero Plus Program. Mr. Cyrilles Huijsmans, GASCO Senior Vice President – Operations, and the winning Team Members received the Awards during a ceremony held on 31st May 2009.
In 2007, GASCO won an Award in the ENVIRONMENT Category for the project "The Recovery of LPG from Molecular Sieve Treater Beds (Sponge Loss).
In 2005 GASCO submitted 57 entries out of a total of 264 entries from the ADNOC Group of Companies and achieved first place of the award category "HSE Performance". The entry was:

In 2003 GASCO submitted 22 entries out of a total of 131 entries from the ADNOC Group of Companies and achieved first place in the Health category and runner-up in the Safety category. The entries were:

SAFETY: Habshan/Bab Integrity and Reliability Assessment Study
In 2002 GASCO submitted nine entries out of a total of 79 entries from the ADNOC Group of Companies and achieved first place in the Health and HSE Performance categories. The entries were :
