Courses are offered throughout the year. Managers can nominate employees to attend based on the needs of the company. UAE Nationals have the opportunity to participate in 4 additional courses per year, in addition to the dynamic PDP and CAMS programs designed to build essential competency skills as described below.

Personal Development Plan (PDP)

  • Provides customization of skills required for junior level positions
  • Skills are developed and enhanced through classroom and on the job training
  • Mentorship is provided by line managers and instructors
  • The PDP plan develops essential skills over a 2-3 year period

Competency Assessment Management System (CAMS)


Designed to develop skills for senior level positions as part of an employee’s career progression :

  • Assure competencies of engineers to allow transfer between ADNOC group companies
  • Mentorship and training is provided through classroom and OJT by line managers and instructors
  • CAMS develops required skills through completion of 4 assignments over a 3-4 year period

All training is managed in accordance with the ADNOC Personal Development Framework (PDF), which outlines specific job competencies given to junior and senior positions and are recognized across all ADNOC group companies.
