One of our key business objectives is the employment and continuous development of UAE Nationals. Building capacity and employing UAE Nationals in a meaningful and efficient manner is a policy pursued by many organizations in the UAE, both in public and private sectors. This policy often leads to formal targets being set for recruitment quotas in different industries. We have responded to this challenge by striving to provide an attractive work environment, where Nationals can be assured continuous improvement of their skills, careers, and benefits, within a culture focused on achieving a sound work-life balance. Recruiting, nurturing and retaining the skills and knowledge of Nationals is both a responsibility and an opportunity for us. We actively support initiatives that aim to nurture future leaders and ensure that our youth appreciates the importance of the energy and hydrocarbon sector for the UAE economy.

Currently we primarily focus on two key areas:

  • Attracting UAE Talent – we are committed to significantly increase the number of UAE Nationals employed with GASCO and therefore deploy robust recruitment strategies. We offer opportunities for both experienced and highly qualified Nationals and fresh graduates from colleges and high schools that are looking for their first job.

  • Retaining UAE Talent – equally important is for us is the retention of UAE National talent. We therefore offer many opportunities for professional technical and non-technical development. Throughout an employee’s career there are steps in place to encourage and develop the competencies and skills required to have a successful career.
